Welcome to the Amber House, a luxury bed and breakfast, located in the historic village of Rocheport, Missouri, two blocks from the Katy Trail.  Amber House combines Victorian elegance with fine furnishings, antiques, fresh flowers, light-filled rooms and modern amenities. Our property was "purpose built" and features high quality, clutter-free decor. We offer 4 beautifully decorated guest rooms, each with a large, luxury bath and a totally smoke-free environment - no smoking inside or anywhere on the grounds.  No floral wallpaper or doilies here - just a focus on our guests' comfort and attention to every detail.

Your innkeeper is a professionally trained and experienced chef.  Our multi-course, gourmet breakfasts change with the seasons and her inspiration but they are always exceptional.  We would love to share our modern inn and the charming village of Rocheport with you.

Amber House is always a perfect place for a romantic getaway, to celebrate a special occasion, or enjoy a relaxing few days hiking or biking and enjoying the breathtaking scenery along the Katy Trail or visiting the shops in the historic village.  Have lunch or dinner at an excellent downtown restaurant or dine while you enjoy the spectacular view at the bluff-top winery bistro.  Rocheport is only a 2-hour drive from both St. Louis and Kansas City.  We are also less than a 15-minute drive to Columbia, the home of the University of Missouri, which is now in the SEC conference.
