Amber House Bed and Breakfast, Rocheport MO
Welcome to the Amber House, a luxury bed and breakfast, located in the historic village of Rocheport,
Missouri, two blocks from the Katy Trail. The Amber House combines Victorian elegance with fine
furnishings, antiques, fresh flowers, light filled rooms and modern amenities. Each of our four
beautifully decorated guest suites features a large private luxurious bath. Complimentary beverages
and snacks are always available in the Butler's Pantry and on the second floor landing. At the Amber
House, our attention is on our guests comfort.
 Amber House is always a
perfect place for a romantic getaway, to celebrate a special
occasion, or enjoy a relaxing few days hiking or
biking and enjoying the breathtaking scenery along the Katy Trail or
visiting the shops in the historic village. Have lunch or
dinner at an excellent downtown restaurant or dine while you enjoy
the spectacular view at the bluff-top winery bistro.
Rocheport is only a 2-hour drive from both St. Louis and
Kansas City. We are also less than a 15-minute drive to Columbia, the home of the University of Missouri, which is now in the SEC conference.

Of course great food is always a part of your stay. For upscale dining we boast two excellent restaurants - Les Bourgeois Blufftop Bistro (573-698-2300), open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday until 3:00 p.m., and Abigail's, located in an historic downtown storefront (573-698-3000 and reservations a must here), open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. The Rocheport General Store offers casual dining and live music Friday and Saturday evenings. We are happy to assist in making your reservation. Just let us know when you book your room.
Also, lots of good live music at the Rocheport General Store every Friday and Saturday night. It's a great place to kick back, relax, and listen to some of the best music talent the area has to offer. Man in the Ring, The Thin Dimes, Megan Boyer Band, Mojo Roots are just a few of the performers you will find. There's never a cover charge and there is always a good time.
